2 Big Five Personality Trait Test Big five personality trait test basically covers the OCEAN model test which stands for Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism. This paper is divided into three parts which begins with the results that I got in the big five trait personality test and what changes I can bring to improve my personality. Then this paper progresses towards the managerial style that I would opt based on the results that I got from the test. The final part discusses about the perceptual errors and its types and how it can be reduced to improve productivity at workplace. Openness here means a person’s ability to imagine things in the complex ways. Also, people with high scores in openness turn out to be very creative, adventurous and intellectual. Such people are always ready to experience new things in their life and they do not hesitate in accepting and implementing new ideas in their personal and professional life (Sims, C. M. 2017). Although, according to the results from Big five personality trait test, I scored 58% in openness which is not that high, but also not that low. Moreover, these scores depict that I hesitate a little bit to accept the new ideas and have a little interest in creative activities which hinders me from creating new ideas and less open to new adventures in my life. Nevertheless, I firmly believe that art plays an important role in shaping the creativity skills of an individual as it increases the diameter of their imagination which helps them in creating new ideas. Also, I am not that interested in art activities which might be the reason that I do not welcome changes in any activity. All these things depict the negative part of my personality. On the other hand, positive thing about such scores is that I think practically in my real life and concentrate on the ideas that are possible to implement in various tasks. It also shows that I am conventional in nature which means that I believe in the ideas that are already proved or successfully implemented. In addition, this kind of nature can restrict a positive change in performing tasks, but the already successful ideas would also continue to
3 Big Five Personality Trait Test produce fruitful results. For example, I always wanted to be an entrepreneur but it is not easy to become one as it requires a great amount of knowledge and different ideas to become a successful entrepreneur, so I decided to go for the MBA to gain the required knowledge and ideas to start my own business which is a practical move according to me.
