Midterm 1 study guide The Midterm will consist almost entirely of problems. There may be one or two definition questions. The material on mutations (Chapter 17) will NOT be covered as we will not get to it. You will be supplied with the basic probability equations and a chi squared table. You will need a calculator. The problems listed below from Pierce should give you and idea of the range of questions. As well as this you can expect one problem involving conditional probability or Bayes theorem, similar to what has been provided in the problem sets.
