3IntroductionTesla gained widespread recognition in the electric vehicle automobile industry throughout the world. Specializing in safety, luxury, spaciousness and cost effectiveness. With over 80stores in operation in the United States alone, the main supply comes from their production plant Tesla factory, in Freemont, California. Additionally it has a plant in Lathrop, California. Their vision is to accelerate the world’s transition to electric mobility and renewable energy, with a full range of increasingly affordable vehicles by placing them into a competitive marketplace atthe lowest price possible.In 2003 Tesla Inc. An American automobile maker specializing in zero-emission electric hybrid vehicles. Additionally, they produce solar panels for their sub-sidiary Solar City, which is instrumental in helping to finance the Tesla Inc. Operations. Plus, they have their gig factory in Reno Nevada where they produce and store Ion Lithium battery packs, mega packs, and wallpacks. The company is based in Palo Alto, California. Tesla Inc. was founded by two gentlemen named Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning and they named the company after Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) a Serbian Inventor of the induction motor with an alternating current (AC) power transmission technology. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, (Co-founder Pay-Pal, CEO and founder of Space-X), joined forces with Tesla Inc. Elon was influential in designing and engineering these earth friendly vehicleswith all the latest in futuristic inspired technology.
4Tesla locations Tesla has several locations throughout the United States, Australia, Europe, New Zealand and China. There are multiple production and assembly plants, and a Gig factory in Nevada. The main Tesla car factory is in Fremont, CA.The first few years for Tesla were very tough; Tesla was a company that no one knew anything about. The electric vehicles were new to the market, the bills were stacking up and the sales were not what they had expected for the first few production years.
