Report the mean, median, and mode: The mean, median, and mode are measures of central tendency. The mean is the average of a dataset, in this case, 2.98, for “hours per day watching TV.” The median represents the exact middle of a distribution, splitting the distribution in two equal parts. The median in this distribution is 2.0. The mode is the category or score with the largest frequency, in this case, 2. (Frankfort-Nachmias & Leon-Guerrero, 2018). What might be the better measure for central tendency? (i.e., mean, median, or mode) and why? Frankfort-Nachmias & Leon-Guerrero (2018) state, the mean is used to describe central tendency in interval-ratio variables such as income, age, and education. The mean of the hours of TV watched per day is 2.98, which explains many individuals watch approximately 3 hours of TV

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
