Spectrum of Functionality Rogers’ work with the client Gloria had a long term effect in helping her really love herself.  In  the spectrum of functionality,  Question 5:  -Psychological growth for Reich is defined as the process of dissolving ones psychological  armory rigidity, thereby gradually becoming a freer and open individual that is capable of  enjoying, achieving, and satisfying the orgasm.  Being free of inhibition and to discharge freely,  we encounter the orgasmic potency because the discharge results in an imbalance in which we  move up the spectrum of functionality and learn to enjoy the orgasmic potency.  In order to  move up the psychological growth process, we must learn to fully enjoy and accept delight in  our orgasmic potency because discharge results in exquisite inner self regulation, inner sense  of balance, and maturation.  The obstacles to growth are armoring and sexual repressions.
