Respond to key words and cue words Assignment 2 No Eating Day For many years my family has been part of a religious practice called "El dia de ayunas". This is translated into "No eating day". This practice takes place every year on the last Sunday in the moth of March, which is considered the day that Jesus Christ left our world. On this day, you must be up no later than 6:00 a.m., which is the time that Jesus was awakened that morning in order to be crucified. Once you wake up you are not allowed to eat anything. At 10:00 a.m. everybody in the family gathers around the dinning table and each member receives a small piece of bread, which must be baked by

It is said that he died in the afternoon around 5:00 p.m. At that time, you must attend church for a mass that is dedicated to the death of Christ. When this celebration is over, you are then allowed eat whatever you want, and as much as you desire. It has been many years since the last time I was part of this practice. Sometimes I don't even remember when it takes place. It is a practice that has lost its meaning in the last couple of decades for many people.
