The riddle being, ”What walks on four legs in the morning, two legs at noon, and three in the evening?” The answer is “man,” Oedipusentered Thebus a savior and also crowned King with the already reigning Queen Jocasta.Oedipus was fleeing Corinth in anger because he had heard he was a bastard and his parents refused to tell him the truth. Because of his anger, Oedipus traveled to Delphi to demand the truth from Apollo. It was then he was told of the oracle that he would kill his father and marry his mother. Hearing this, he fled in fear of the oracle becoming true to Thebus. It was later he found out the old man he had killed on his way to Thebes, Laius was his true
