To: Anyone who cares about his or her life Many people think that global warming is the sun making the earth too hot or a big hole somewhere in the sky. However, global warming is an issue of carbon dioxide; and it is all around us. Carbon dioxide actually makes earth a safe place for us to live, but when people start abusing everyday luxuries, we face the risk of global warming. Fossil fuels are increasing the amount of carbon dioxide to a dangerously high level in the atmosphere causing the temperatures to rise. By raising the temperature to scarcely high temperatures, global warming is causing a countless number of other problems. Al Gore, in the new film “An Inconvenient Truth,” tells us that these temperature increases are causing glaciers to melt, animals being forced from their homes and increasing number of severe storms and droughts. History shows us that Malaria has spread because of temperature increases and category 4 and 5 hurricanes, like Katrina, have nearly doubled in the last three decades.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
