1 Objective The objective of this experiment is based on activation energy. It’s a common idea to relate this with adding heat to a substance or freezing a substance but this experiment shows how it’s possible for chemicals to react naturally with an enzyme catalyst. To get products in past experiments we’ve often mixed substances or added heat, in this experiment I’ll measure which reaction is the most effective in producing enzyme activity. 2 The percent of concentration of catalase tells me the potential enzyme reaction rate in centimeters per second, thus the higher the percent of concentration is the faster the reaction will be.
