This review covers most basic knowledge about California costal redwoods. Their location, habitat, sprouts, stand dynamic, management, and climate. From the climate change section, author asserts two redwood traits might be vulnerable to climate change. Redwood benefit from fog concentration and direct absorption of water and nitrogen. Although this is a review mostly on the restoration of redwoods, we can use it as a basic knowledge guide for California redwoods about its habitat and so on.
