Childrenʼs literature can be used to foster a childʼs early speech development. Name two childrenʼs books you could use in your classroom to build a childʼs articulation skills and language development. Describe how the books you reference can enhance your instruction in these areas. We all know that reading is good fundamentals for all children it helps children with literature it helps with speech development as well language development . The books that I have chose. Are titles “Pete the cat I love my white shoes” and The very hungry Caterpillar. These two books are very repetitive books that will help a childʼs articulations skills and language development. When working with these books as a teacher you could use target words
to help the child. While sequencing or retelling the story (you can use the story props as visuals), have your child think about their target sound. In my class I have students that donʼt speak and have a hard time and with working with books
