Your duties will vary depending on the size of the business and the role you are undertaking. Bookkeepers can work alone or in varying sized teams. In a small business you may be required to work across several areas of expertise whilst in a larger business you may just look after one service like payroll for example. Whilst working as a bookkeeper you will report to someone higher in the business with input from other employees such as peers and other senior staff.
