Someone’s attitude at their work directly affects their own job performance, teamwork of other coworkers, turnover, etc. A person’s attitude can affect their job in a positive way or a negative way and it can help or harm an organization. If a person is in a good mood and has a positive attitude they are more likely to be more productive. That person makes better first impressions and it takes a lot less energy to maintain a positive attitude than it does a bad attitude so more energy is used towards the task at hand. If a person is in a bad mood or if they always have a bad attitude at work they can ruin other people’s day with the negative energy.
