Unformatted text preview: 82% yield. Through the laboratory experiment, we have resulted in a fairly high yield which means that we exercised very good lab skills. Although we did not have a chance to use IR equipment, it can be assumed that we would get a reading at 1600 & 1500 of a benzene and 1700 for the carbonyl group.
