Premise(s) 1. When we release carbon by burning coal or driving, all us pay for that in the form of fires, floods, and crop failures. 2. Putting a fee on carbon creates incentives to emit less carbon. 3. Less carbon will motivate industries to develop low carbon technology.

Conclusion By the end of the century if emissions keep rising the average temperature, our earth could go up another 4 to 8 degrees.
