WORKING WITH SCHOOLS2I provide services along with other educators that provide services for our students that have an IEP. An IEP is a binding contract that the school district has to follow to service students who may have a physical or mental disability. An annual IEP is done every year to go over the students modification, goals and accommodation. During this process it is the IEP team that helps implement the IEP in the students classes whether it is a general education class or a special ed class. WORKING WITH SCHOOLS3Behavior Technician for the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District. I work in a classroom setting with students with a variety of disabilities. I take data on the students behavior, implement a level system, behavior intervention plan, as well as a behavior support plan, However I collaborate with many different staff throughout the day such as teachers, administrators, speech therapist and physical therapist. We collectively work together to make sure the students are successful in the school environment.
