1. I’m traveling to the United States for the first time. What do you know about manners in the U.S.? What tips do you have about being polite? If you will travel to the United States for the first time. I just know a little bit about polite manners in the U.S. Every country have their own social rules and behaviors. There are some way of polite manners in the U.S. First of all, Americans always value people arrive on time and be late is a sign of rudeness. For example, if you receive a dinner invitation to someone's home, they will hope you can arrive very close to the time they gave you, either a few minutes early or a few minutes late. If you arrive too late, they will think you are disrespectful for their time or, if you go to classes late you should call or text the teacher with apologies. Secondly, you have friends in the U.S and they invited you to arrive their houses , Americans usually do not have a tradition of gift giving
