Mohr 1 victim was a mentally handicapped girl who was the age of twenty-four, who got raped with a broomstick and bat, by four young boys on the football team whose names were Christopher Archer, Kevin and Kyle Scherzer and Bryant Grober. Now as far as the Steubenville rape case there are similarities with the perpetrators. The victim for the Stuebenville rape case was a drunk sixteen-year old girl and the perpetrators were Trent Mays and Ma’lik Richmond, who were also on a football team. All of the perpetrators have attacked young innocent girls who didn’t know better. Victim-blaming/responsibility is always the controversial part of an investigation or even just writing a paper about victim-blaming. There is a lot of victim-blaming you could say in the Glen Ridge rape case, depending on your opinion of the case. According to Revolvy, one of the boys she say in the park playing baseball came over and asked her to come down to a basement of a nearby house for a party. The owners of the house were in Florida. The handicapped girl refused initially however, she agreed when she was told that the boy’s brother (whom she had a crush on) would go on a date with her. The boy escorted her to the basement and there were twelve boys ready to have a “party” with one girl. According to the Revolvy, there were a total of six boys left while the victim undressed.
