College 101 Final Project GOALS PARAGRAPH My long-term goal for attending Clark College is to receive an AST2 transfer degree in computer science. From there I plan to transfer to the University of Washington to complete a bachelor’s degree in software engineering. Some short-term goals I have for this summer term are to complete all my assignments on time, and to the best of my ability. Another goal I have for this term is to earn at least a 3.5 GPA, which means I’m really going to have to work hard in my calculus class. Another goal I have for this term is to learn about all the extra things Clark has to offer outside of the classroom, such as clubs, resources, workshops, etc. I really plan on utilizing every resource Clark has to offer to better insure ensure my success, in class and in life. Finally, I think another goal I have for this term is to just have fun, to make friends, and to not take myself too seriously. I’m new to Vancouver, so I think being in school here will give me a great opportunity to meet new people who are trying to better themselves through higher education. RESPONSE TO SUPERSTRONG CAREER EDUCATION ASSIGNMENT I am interested in the Science, Technology, and Engineering program of study, and I learned from SuperStrong that on top of my conventional PAGE 1

interests, I am also very enterprising as well. I still plan on pursuing a degree in computer science, but maybe I can figure out a way to incorporate some business classes as electives into my degree so I can explore that area of study as well. I’m also planning on researching some of the career choices that SuperStrong suggested for me, like marketing analyst and sales engineer.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
