Al contraer un musculo la neurona motora libera el neurotransmisor Acetil-Colina, una vez que es recibida por los receptores de la fibra muscular se genera el Potencial de Acción el cual viaja por la fibra hasta llegar a los “Túbulos T” para abrir los canales retículo surco plasmático (ayuda a que el calcio fluya hasta el sarco plasma) donde se suelta el calcio.
