Annie (Yee yee) Xiong ANTH 7 Professor Pierce Abstract Murder and rape are two of the major topics under different crimes all around the world. It is seen for women to be more vulnerable to sexual violence reported in different levels of age group from seven months to seventy year old, both physically and mentally handicapped. There are also more reports in sexual attack cases, the rape victim would be murdered after having the crime fully committed. Such a crime is committed by the rapist to conceal any form of their identity and to escape any justices that will punish the individual. There are many methods in conducting studies to find variations among males and females in these cases of forensic relevance; sexual dimorphisms play an important part in gender determination to be specific. Teeth are the hardest and chemically most inert part of the human body and it resists putrefaction and decay, making it the most forensically relevant as evidence. In one case, a disabled woman had developed a sexual relationship with her boyfriend having soon to be married. The relationship in which they lived in continued for a long time, however, the only motive was to enjoy intercourse. One day, after their usual physical activities, the woman (victim) insisted to fix their date to solemnize their marriage. There was intense altercations between the two and because of their disinterest in marriage, the victim threatened to call the police, being upset, the boyfriend lost his mental balance and after fearing shame and the punishments of law, he strangulated the victim resulting in her death. The body was dragged and left in an abandoned area where the police got information about the detection of a corpse. The police and forensic team visited the location spot for investigation and recovered physical evidence that their

examination led to catching the suspect. Another would be a study conducted on 101 respondents; 50 are female and 51 of them are male, in the age groups of 18-35 years. Canine measurements are included in mesiodistal, buccolingual and inter canine distances were measures on each respondent. Statistical tests were conducted to study the dimorphism in gender. Introduction: Crimes under murder and rape are very alarming. As per National Crime Records there were more than 38,000 rapes and 30,000 murder cases registered in the year 2016 [1]. The incident of rape followed with murder is very less; as such the statistics on such cases are not available in literature. But it is seen women of different age groups are victims of such crime and take place in a vehicle or outdoor. There are different factors to killing a victim after having the rape conducted: a. To satisfy sex desire (lust) and wipe out evidence by killing b. Honor killing c. Serial killing after having sex (Promiscuous sexual behavior) d. Ritual/occult belief among women disciple e. Resulting pregnant of the victim being raped several occasion f. Destroy oral witnesses of rape victim to escape arrest by the police and harsh punishment g. Satisfy sadistic pleasure
