Robustness refers to many things: how often the code breaks down, how reliable it is on different platforms, or how accurate the result is in the presence of errors? OBJECTIVES The objective of this project is to broaden your horizon in the area of robustness of software, especially the robustness of numerical code. A second objective is to study the role of tolerances and their effects on stability and compatibility. QUESTIONS One of the most important parts of learning is to ask good questions.
