Nhi Le English 112 Byall Benson 1. What does she mean by the statement that she “had been dealing with the symptoms rather than the disease”? In the reading "Woman and Birth Control" of Margaret Sanger, we learned that ancient women were not allowed to go to school like men, they were only at home to take care of the housework and serve men in the family. So they lack a lot of knowledge in life, such as birth control. Abortion, especially unsafe abortions, has destroyed many women, both physically and mentally. As the author also said, the United States does not have laws to protect women from these things as well as disseminating knowledge about birth planning for women. The case of Margaret Sanger's patient is just one of thousands, millions of women also need help out there. That lack of knowledge has led them to abortion, and that has also affected their psychology very seriously, we can clearly see that the patient was treated psychologically rather than a disease.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
