qEnvironment PSA Explanation–Tiger Poaching The topic selection of Tiger poaching came from Emily’s passion for tigers. She is obsessed with these amazing creatures that are being eradicated rapidly from this earth. She has so many stuffed animals of them and for a good reason, they are simply magnificent. The tiger is a top predator in the jungle ecosystem, making the pressure of saving these creatures even more eminent. Tigers are one of many big cats in the world and are arguably the most known when seen. There are many different types of tigers that exist including the Bengal, Siberian, South China, Malayan, Sumatran, Caspian, and many many more. We are focusing on the Sumatran Tiger for our PSA. It is critically endangered with less than 500 left as of 2008 and the number is only shrinking.
