Chapter3 access control is a mechanism that regulates access to data or functionality by determining whether a subject is permitted to perform an operation on a target object. Authentication: is essentially proving that you are who you claim to be. Username and password Authorization: is the process of determining whether the validated identity has the rights to do what they want to do. Permissions Identification: is the first step of claiming to be a certain person. Confirmation: is the second step of proving that claim. Biometric factors: the assumption is that each person possess unique fingerprints and retinal patterns that nobody else should have. Two-factor (2FA): using factors from two of the three categories.  Two-step validation (2VA): using factors from one category.  Three-factor (3FA): using factors from each category. دادعت 1) Password-Based Authentication Systems  Built-in HTTP authentication  Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication  Custom authentication systems 2)

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
