Effective special education educators have a high expectation for their students; these educators expect students to learn and succeed in realistic goals, progress, and success. Skilled educators “individualize their instruction to meet the unique needs of each child, teaching the child how to learn as well as what to learn” (Gargiulo, 2012, p. 173). When students are actively engaged and participate in learning educators communicate together on how a particular skill or concept is important, how it can be used, and applied. Anchoring teacher collaboration is involved in lesson plans and student achievement. The positive outcomes of teacher collaboration are the result of instructional clarity.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
