Leilani Alvarez 1 . In your opinion what are the three most important concepts/terms/ideas that you learned this term about communication? I really don't like communications but for my own reasons, I hate presenting in front of others, it's not my strong suit I get really flustered and I start to stutter and I feel as if everyone is judging me, but communications class helped me in someway know that our minds all are different and that we might think one thing but in reality the others are on a different page. The second thing I found interesting about communication was Common Perceptual Tendencies and how in adulthood we tend to engage in stereotyping frequently and unconsciously because once we create a stereotype we hold on to it. The last thing I found important to remember about communication was culture differences and how I in my own culture my find some things normal and common others won't and how it goes both way and that the way I might say things or reject something

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
