1 Leilani Alvarez Ms. Brittain AP English Lit. April 21, 2017 POV/Perspective Throughout the novel Clockwork Orange we only truly get one perspective and that is of Alex’s. Which can be perceived as not a bad thing but by the author doing this we as the reader only truly get to meet and understand Alex with depth but due to the story only having one character point of view the reader doesn't have knowledge of the other characters besides what the writer provides. This book was different than other previous books I have read that have also been one person point of view, the reason this book was different was because Alex being the narrator, Alex young 15-year-old boy who could only throughout the whole book do wrong, he did such atrocious things but made the reader feel like he was the victim through it all. “ Is it better for a man to have chosen evil than to have good imposed upon him?”(pg. 45) Alex gave
