Running head: QUESTIONNAIRE DEVELOPMENT Questionnaire Development This week’s assignment was a fascinating and challenging due to the intent of the assignment and cooperation needed to achieve success. This course was the first time learning teams were implemented within the assignments, compared to my courses previously taken while attending the University of Phoenix. Ultimately, the end goal is to be able to define and operationalize a construct within a form expected in literature reviews. The assignment also involves developing a ten question survey, which is used to measure the construct based on our definition, rather it is collectively or individually, I would assume. As for working with the team on my assignment, Team D, there were a lot of factors that may or may not contributed to the miscommunication of what to expect from everyone. Such conflicts can be reflected from a correlation of both individual and group efforts. The result may have also derived from the lack of urgency to get involved with the assignment, itself. Using different avenues of approach, such as sending emails, leaving classrooms messages with suggestions for the questionnaire and construct (research question) was evident, although my invitations lead to no response. After all of which lead to no avail, my focus is now geared towards things that I can contribute, rather than dropping the assignment entirely. The difficulties of being deployed in the Middle East and working on assignments can be quite the hassle. Not to mention working on assignments at opposite times of the day, based on the noticeable time difference ranging anywhere from nine to twelve hours.
