Purpose The purpose of this experiment is to determine the minimum change in entropy for the dissolution of sodium nitrate in water, and to determine the Gibbs free energy change and reaction quotient for the dissolution of calcium chloride in water. Procedure The procedure for this lab can be found on pages 62- 67 in General Chemistry CHE111L Lab Manual Spring 2018 . Data Tables Carbon copies of data tables have been attached to the end of this lab report. Calculations 1. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
