SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to 1) distinguish types, equations and graphs of lines; 2) write an equation of a line using the point-slope and slope-intercept forms; 3) find the distance and midpoint between two points; 4) graph elementary functions; 5) define and identify a function and use function notation; 6) solve compound, absolute value, and linear inequalities in two variables; 7)
