English II Honors Name _________________________________ Introduction to the Jazz Age Create a Museum of Artifacts The novel The Great Gatsby , by F. Scott Fitzgerald, is set in the Roaring Twenties or the Jazz Age. We will be next studying the Harlem Renaissance, a literary movement from this same time period. You will get a better sense of this movement by gaining some understanding of the social context of the time period. So, you will be working as part of a team of investigators researching to find evidence of a specific aspect of life. Then, you will take on the role of museum curator and create artifacts to represent your findings. As with a museum collection, your collection will allow future generations to continue to learn about the past.
