Yasman Bafandkar Professor Hearn EWRT 2 07-13-2014 LOGICAL FALLACY TEMPLATE Complete one template for each of your three logical fallacies that you have chosen. You may single space to save paper. Name of the logical fallacy Ad hominem Definition of the logical fallacy Attacking a person through things that are not related to their argument, in order to decrease their credibility. By this way, their argument become less important and/or affective. One real-life example of when you have made this type of fallacy When I talk about politics with my friends, I usually use ad hominem as a tool to persuade them that my argument is right. For example in Sweden we have a political party called ``Sverige Demokraterna`` (The Swedish Democrat Party), which is against foreigners. There has been many scandals about the politicians in that party. I use those scandals as a tool to proof that they are not eligible for taking care of a country. I use those scandals as examples and say that they are irresponsible. Therefore, their arguments are wrong.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
