Supplier Relationship and Sustainable Business 2 Abstract This study focuses on the analysis of the importance of building strong, mutually beneficial and long-term relationships between manufacturing companies and supplier companies particularly with the aim of establishing sustainable businesses in the long run. The study uses both primary and secondary research approaches to support its assertions and arrive at its key findings. Secondary research approach in this study involved systematic analysis of books, journals, and reports that were developed professionally and were relevant to the topic of study. Primary research approach involved a survey and an interview study, which involved 30 and 6 respondents respectively. The study concluded that since manufacturing and supplier companies co-exist, they ought to develop good, mutually beneficial and long term relationships that are based on sustainable operations in order to establish sustainable businesses in the long run. This finding was based on the argument that mutual relationship between these companies helps to shape their continued commitment towards sustainability, and this eventually enables both companies to achieve their goals of establishing sustainable businesses in the long run.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
