IUPUI El Ed Block II Lesson Plan Template Grade : 6th Subject: Math Authors: Sarah Shearer Duration: 30 minutes Date(s) 2/20/19 Guiding Question(s): How much does my student know about percentage? Does the student know the relationship between percentage and fractions? Is the student able convert fractions and percentage? Rationale: My student was able solve the problems I provided for him field week one/two with very few challenges. I would like to see if my student has knowledge of percentages and the relations ship between them. I think the relationships go along together with what we worked on together. Essential Skills (Objectives) worked on in this lesson: I can convert fraction into decimals then into percentages. I can use my paper fold maniputives to help me solve problems. I can solve problems using 100s charts. Procedures (include details and estimated times for each activity; include titles of books, URLs used and descriptions for all activities) : 1. Ask student what he knows about LCM and GCFs
