UNIT IV: ASSIGNMENT III 2 Introduction In the United States of America, we have had a lot of issues with gangs into Law Enforcement, government, and correctional agencies. Gangs will always be around, and I am afraid there is nothing anyone can do to protect the world from gangs. They’re not only in the United States. We have also had issues with computer crimes, many people are affected by cybercrimes daily. Cybercrimes are hard to stay away from because people are smart and can get into your information without you even knowing it and it can also happen so fast.

UNIT IV: ASSIGNMENT III 3 Gangs and the Drug Trade Gangs and organized crime share many attributes when it comes to producing, transporting, and selling drugs. According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, in two thousand and fifteen an estimated thirty-three thousand violent street gangs, motorcycle gangs, and prison gangs with about one point four million members are criminally active in the United States. These gangs are expanding and posing an increasing threat to the United States communities. Gangs are criminal networks who are violent distributors of drugs that maintain close relationships with the members in the gang and the larger transnational drug organizations. These gangs can adapt, also organized, and opportunistic. These gangs are a group of persons who share a common identity and who generally engage in criminal activity. Suburban areas and
