Outline the role of the nurse in caring for patients with specific disease conditions undergoing diagnostic testing to confirm disease process related the gall bladder and the pancreas. 4. Apply knowledge of pathophysiology to document assessment findings for the patient with specific disease conditions related to functions of the pancreas and the gall bladder. 5. Use nursing judgement to create safe, evidence-based care to promote pancreas and gall bladder function in patients with select disease conditions. 6. Apply knowledge of pharmacology to delineate nursing implications for administering drug therapy to patients with select disease conditions related to the pancreas and gall bladder.
