Reflect, Connect, Reply Due Throughout the Semester (75 points total, 15 points each) This course will rely on Discussions, referred to as Reflect, Connect, Reply (RCR), to facilitate interaction and ongoing learning checks. There are 5 scheduled RCR opportunities. Each RCR is worth 15 points, with 5 points available per component. Discussions can be accessed in a variety of ways on Canvas - you can go directly to the Discussions section, or you can jump to a Discussion from the Assignments or Modules sections. Once you navigate to Discussions, you will notice that each RCR has a unique description and prompt relating to recent course content. The descriptions below provide a general overview of RCR. Discussions will not be structured exactly the same every week, so it will be your responsibility to carefully read each prompt before submitting any responses. REFLECT & CONNECT The Reflect & Connect portion of our Discussions is your opportunity to respond to that week’s discussion prompt independently. Reflect (5 points) In the Reflect portion of your post, you will respond to the Discussion prompt and connect your response to course material. You may also incorporate personal experiences relevant to the topic into your response, although this is not a requirement. Because this component is meant to demonstrate your ability to think critically and apply what you’ve learned, you MUST incorporate at least one in-text (parenthetical) citation referring to course content (i.e., assigned reading) into this section of your post. Reflect sections without at least one in-text citation to course content will automatically receive 0/5 points. If you internally cite course content only, you do not need to include a full citation at the end of the post. However, if you choose to incorporate any external sources into this section, you must provide an in-text citation and a full citation at the end of the post. In order to thoughtfully respond to the prompt, incorporate course material, and possibly tie in personal experiences, Reflect sections should be at least two substantial paragraphs in length (approximately 300-450 words). Although I am not a stickler when it comes to response length, points may be deducted for responses that are noticeably brief.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
