Using the following formulae we calculate approximate L q and compare it with the simulation result . For approximation 1, we get Lq (G/G/1) = 9.234 For approximation 2, we get Lq (G/G/1) = 8.9535 For approximation 3, we get Lq (G/G/1) = 8.0705 For approximation 2, we get Lq (G/G/1) = 9.3465

Now we compare it with the simulation result. We see from the above simulation results that the average number of jobs in queue is 7.2532 mins. I.e Lq= 7.2532 mins Which we can compare to the above calculated values from the four approximation methods.
