Kosher food is prepared according to strict Jewish dietary laws. Meat and milk may not be eaten together at the same meal and must be cooked using separate utensils, pans, pots and dishes. Eating pork or shellfish is prohibited. Meat must be kosher as well and it has to be slaughtered the correct way and supervised by a rabbi.
