Specific topics include starting a small business, satisfying customers, managing operations, motivating employees, building teams, managing information, managing financial resources, and exploring the ethical and social responsibilities of American businesses. Prerequisite: None MAJOR INSTRUCTIONAL AREAS 1. Global and Domestic Economics and Competition 2. Forms of Business Ownership 3. Ethics and Social Responsibility 4. Organizing a Business 5. Production and Operations Management 6. Marketing 7. Product Development and Pricing 8. Financial Management METHODS OF INSTRUCTION 1. Lectures and Student Involvement 2.
