Describe your program in Step 3. First, mention the reasoning why you chose NetBeans or Java Development. Make sure to include key components mentioned in the previous step such as blocks, class, and characters. The reason I chose NetBeans was that I have used it before in other CIS classes and that it is simple to use. My program that I made in Java consists of using the command prompt to help with Hello World. I wanted it to say Hello World in the Output screen. I wrote public static void main(String[] args) then I wrote Prints “Hello, World” in the terminal window. I then wrote System.out.println(“Hello, World”);. I used HelloWorld as the class name, used Prints “Hello, World” in the terminal window as variable 1 for an int; and used System.out.println as variable 2 for a String. I made sure that there were no error causing rules in my program that I wrote and that I followed the non-error causing rules when writing my program. I have run this program before in other CIS classes and it was Hello World that was used most of the time.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
