Lacey Brown TuesdaySep 10 at 1:34pm Manage Discussion Entry The economy is based on supply and demand. If consumers like or need your product, they buy your product. If a restaurant is notorious for making people sick, do you think that people will continue to go to that restaurant? The answer is no. We humans are smart cookies. There is no need for the government to regulate how we sell or what we sell. I am not saying that laws wouldn’t exist, just that regulations on businesses would be very limited. Businesses will pay, approximately, $913 Billion dollars in regulation fees this year. That’s almost 8% of the gross domestic product. It’s too much! Companies could take that money and create new jobs and better, more innovative products (The Washington Times, 2005). Hong Kong, Singapore and New Zealand are great examples of how free markets can exist.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
