Adolf HitlerWhen many hear the name Hitler they automatically think of the holocaust but he had dealings with more than just the holocaust. First a little background information about Hitler. Hitler was not always a bad man that many assumed him to be. Hitler started off as a regular man who enjoyed art and other things. Hitler wanted to become an artist. In the article Hitler’s First War Thomas Weber states how, “ Hitler ended up in Munich, the German Mecca for artist” (11). After the many wars started to break out in Germany Hitler’s life started to change and some would say not for the best. After the wars begin to break out Hitler then was assigned to hisregiment which was the 16thBavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment also known as RIR 16 (Weber, 11). After the war started to come to a slow pause Hitler then found out that he was not acceptedinto the arts academy. Hitler was left to paint post cards and name was not even mentioned when the war ended while all his war friends because successful after and he was not. Hitler’s political years began after the wars. In the article Adolf Hitler Collins states, “ One night Hitler attended in Munich a meeting of a newly formed German Workers’ Party, and decided to join it. He was its seventh member, and was not long in making himself its leader and his nationalist and anti-Marxist creed. The movement soon took hold in Bavaria and Hitler then discovered his remarkable oratorical powers and proved himself an adept in the management of large meetings”(Collins, 2005). By January 30, 1933, Hitler was formally invested with the seals of office as Reichskanzler and was now the chancellor. Hitler also had dealings with World War II. World War II was exactly what the name is saying a world war between the allies and axis powers. We will look at the world before World War II, how World War II started and Hitler’s involvement, and how things changed after World War II ended.
Before World War II started the world was still not all that peaceful because life before World War II was World War I. World War I started in Europe and the united states was not readyfor war. In fact the United States had no intentions into going into war. As Young stated, “With other political leaders calling for the United States to maintain its isolationist policy, Wilson quickly declared a policy of strict neutrality” (Young, 2005). Although America wanted to stay neutral during the wars that was not able to happen. With the surrounding countries provoking America they then had to enter the war.
