This was the capturing and murdering of millions of Jews. Among those Jews was a girl named Anne Frank and her family. Anne Frank was a young girl who wrote about her life during the time of the Holocaust. Anne wrote in a diary that would later be an inspiration to teengagers and be a voice for all Holocaust victims. Her diary is still sold and read today by many. Anne Frank is well-known for her published diary. She received this diary as a gift for her thirteenth birthday. She wrote in letter-like entries to an imaginary friend named Kitty. The author of “Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl” said, “Conceiving of her diary as a friend, Anne named the book ‘Kitty’ and wrote her entries in the form of letters,” (3).
