CREATION ACCOUNT FROM
GENESIS 1-2
•
Genesis 1:1 tells us that in
the beginning, the earth was
formless and dark . God said
“Let there be light”. And
there was light.
•
God was pleased with the
light and he then separated
the light
and darkness,
calling it night and day. –
Genesis 1:2-5 This marks the
end of Day 1.

CREATION ACCOUNT FROM
GENESIS 1-2
Days 2-4 – Genesis 1:6-19
•
God said, “Let there be a space between the waters of heavens and the
waters of earth”. He called the space “
Sky”
That ended Day 2.
•
On the third day, God decided that there should be a distinction between
the dry places and the waters so he called the dry places land and the
waters seas and he saw that it was good. Also on the third day, God
commanded the land produce vegetation and small trees that will bear
fruit of all kinds.
•
God said that there should be lights in the sky (sun, stars and moon) and
that they should mark the day from night and the seasons, days and years.
