Case Incident 1: GE’s Work-Out 1. GE’s Work-Out consists of bringing together employees and managers from many different functions and levels within the organization for an informal 3-day meeting to discuss and solve problems that have been identified by employees or senior management —this is clearly a planned change, where the Work-Out is intentionally seeking goal- oriented changes. Everyone in the company coming together and creating teams to assess problems and find solutions is an attempt by the organization to do two things 1. Improve the ability of the organization to adapt to changes in its environment 2. Change / improve employee behavior to suit the transforming, ever-fluid organization. Because GE’s Work- Out is planned and the goal of the Work-Out is to identify problems, stimulate diverse input, and provide a mechanism for speedy decision and action, I would call this process a planned change (MORE SPECIFICALLY IT IS ACTION RESEARCH, WHICH I DISCUSS IN QUESTION 2)..

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
