For many companies who are providing services and goods, it is important to provide this type of experience to their customers. Kudler Fine Foods has a position for a store manager who oversees many different departments and has various roles and responsibilities they are expected to perform. Measuring performance is an important piece of ensuring the performance of a leader such as a store manager is doing what is in the best interest of the company and the employees that report to them. Developing a performance measurement that involves behavior and a result-based approach can help produce amore comprehensive measurement and tool to promote a positive working environment.Behavior and Result Performance MeasurementSelecting a performance measurement is an important component of the evaluation structure. It can involve one or two different types of measurement behavior or result/outcome-based approach. Kudler Fine Foods store manager position has several responsibilities that involve leadership over several other departments, creating guidance for pricing, promotional activities, customer service, and compliance among the employees (Kudler Fine Foods, 2013).
