Creation Account From Genesis 1-2 • God is the creator of all things. • God created the heavens and the earth in 6 days. • God rested on the 7th day Creation Account From Genesis 1-2 • On the 4th day: God creates the sun and the moon. • On the 5th day: God creates the sky and ocean animals • On the 6th day: God creates all the land animals and Adam, the first man. Creation Account From Genesis 1-2 • God is sovereign • Heavens and earth are created and God is happy with his work. • Day 7: God rest and says that all he has created is good Personal Beliefs About the Origins of the Universe • There are three ideologies surrounding the creation of the universe. • Young Earth Creationism • Old Earth Creationism • Evolutionary Creationism ( Theistic) Personal Beliefs About the Origins of the Universe • Young Earth Creationism • God created everything in 6, 24hour days. • The earth is 6,000 to 10,000 years old • Based solely on the statements made of the Bible.
