Observation 1 Two males approx 30 yoga white, suit and tie umc food court male 1 with laptop open and typing male 2 talking. Both sitting upright possibly coworkers. Perhaps discussing a class they may teach or Aid for. Do not make eye contact with each other, laptop keeps them from truly communicating. no bags just two briefcases. Male 2 checks his watch every minute and impatiently taps his foot. Male 1 calm and relaxed typing diligently but face is not tensed and is not jittery. Both satnd up and get in line at dominoes. Male 1 socializes with nearby customer while male 2 continues to look stressed and tense. Male 2 checks watch again. Male 1 shares laugh with female customer. Male 1 receives 1 slice cheese and leaves change to tip. Male 2 quickly follows. Both exit umc. End of observation. Observation 2 Two Afro- am. Students. Both dressed in CU sports gear. One with fancy hat. Both fairly loud and using many hand gestures. Yelling at attractive females from across the umc food court. Both very jovial and passionate with non verbal body language.
